In the beginning…

So where to start? I am beginning to work out the enormity of this endeavour. I’m not even sure on how to use this blog site? Oh well, please forgive my naivety and the simpleness of this post. Hopefully it will get better but I didn’t want to delay writing as I want to capture thoughts as they come.

I read that there are different aspects you need in order to become an entrepreneur, you need knowledge, skills, connections, resources and a good reputation. I can only get a good reputation through actions and delivering what I say I will so I’ll leave that till later but will keep it in mind and try to create a good impression with whomever I interact with to start building this up. I have skills and knowledge in a few professions but nothing in the management aspects of running a business so I think that is where I’ll start. I’ve applied to go back to university and study entrepreneurship and business development which I hope will help me with this. The other 2 things are connections and resources but I think I will need a direction to go in to decide what type of business I want to start. Once I have a better idea I can then work on connections and resources.
